Goodbye 2017

Not going to lie, this year has not been the best for me. 

I've struggled creatively, emotionally, with friendships, with life. I lost my little dog back home and the homesickness has been unbearable at times.

However... I feel like the latter part of this year has improved and I'm hopeful that next year will be much better. My superstitious mother keeps babbling on about the fact its an odd-numbered year and is convinced 2018 is going to be great. 

Since Ellie started helping out with Frappzilla I can already tell that I'm doing much better mentally. She's so great at keeping me focused and organised and I can't imagine that I'd have been able to turn around the end of this year around without her. I feel like I'll be able to be ten times more organised next year knowing she has my back. 

I'm normally so pumped and excited for new years and while I'm really optimistic that the next 365 days will be happier ones than the ones I have lived through this year, I end 2017 feeling pretty burned out and tired. I'm excited to see what the future brings for Frappzilla as I know I'm more determined to give it my all after I struggled creatively this year. 2017 was supposed to be my year of creativity but I feel like I didn't do that justice so I'll give it another bash for 2018. I am pleased to say that my theme of 2016 did carry through into this year though and I managed to be really productive, maybe even more-so than the year before. 

I have been looking at rebranding Frappzilla, giving the site an overhaul, shaking up the models a bit and I think that will help inject some enthusiasm and inspiration. I'm really loving my SDs at the moment and I'm really itching to get them finished as another entire year has passed and I still never made myself any wigs xD; Lua still has a bunch of my boys with her for painting so hopefully I'll be able to get them home soon too. I think it will do wonders for my inspiration and creativity and its been too long without Roscoe around! Not that I could afford to get them painted before now. I definitely need to aquire another SD girl to complete my personal crew and rework some of my smaller models as I'm really not feeling all the Minifees as much as I was. I love my Chloe and my FLAM a whole lot and now I've moved my Halloween onto a DC body, I'm really enjoying him as well but the others definitely need some work or perhaps replacing altogether. 

I also don't have a YOSD model anymore. We were borrowing a LTF faceplate from my friend Cin but its time for her to go home now. We have a blank luna that I'm thinking of getting modded but something sleepy might be nice for a change. The junky LTF hybrided-to-buggery can hardly even stand so that definitely needs some work or maybe I should just go and get an actual full doll. That would probably be wiser.

I'm not sure how my year in review turned into a ramble about doll models but I guess that is what is at the forefront of my mind at the moment. 

I don't think anyone even reads this and I hardly posted here last year but I wanted to just record how I am feeling and where I am currently standing so I can try and work on improving everything in the days to come.
